IN YOUR REMEMBRANCE

Death is like the journey
Everyone will embark on
It is painful and uncanny
But life’s reality does so rely on
…its distasteful ties
That’s why we will cry
And always remember
But we will live until we all die
We will not slumber
And we will not lie
We will work hard till our harvests reach its bumper
Just to you remember
For you lived a beauty
Raising our bars of duty

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. When I go on a journey or a trip/vacation, the most enjoyable part can be preparing for the occasion. Getting the tickets, packing the bags, anticipating what is to come. Reading the literature. Sometimes the journey is postponed and we have to get ready again. Sometimes the preparation is a disappointment.
Eventually we will get there. Death is a destination we all will reach. Let’s not miss all the good days preparing for that last journey.
