WHEN STARS FALL

There are days rays die before their births
There are days suns fall before their deaths
There are days clouds form to block a shine
There are days thunders rage in a horrid whine
When those days dawn
Know our hardwork can push for brightness to be born

II
So let no failing rains drain our spirits
Let the tests of time grant us the chits
…to follow through to our peaks
As our labour rightly speaks
Let our resolves force us to seek
And our humility not make us weak
For there are helpers ready
…if we duly study
There are suns beneath all the bullying clouds
There is great air on these tiring mounds
So heed not naysayers who claim your ambitions are out of bounds

III
Because it is all the knees of the world which kneel
Because it is all the hearts of the world which feel
…the heat of this pandemic
Our attitudes can make our rise supersonic
So ask questions
Engage in conversations
Find solutions
Utilize the solutions
To raise our flag
…in a successful tag
So underdevelopment
turns to optimum development

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
