A SOUL SO FAIR

Sorrows serenade to slay serenity
Singing songs of strikes and surrender
Soaking sins in strong spirits
Stripping souls of sight and selves

II
So I share this self sitting on your shelf
Knowing I’m naught but a small shell
Slipping through slopes of a Shredded shroud
Sinking through sharks in their summer stores
Hoping to find a shine in a shrine
Left years with soulless strings

III
So spare me the swings
…and share the solutions
Spare me the should’ves
…and show me the shore
Spare me the subjects
…and secure me a saved
For none ships a skeletal shell
…to a maker through paths unknown
I only know of the gods my heritage left
And hope to find a shine there
To travel through a spirit with a soul so fair

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
