What becomes of the hardworking
As big fishes sail through traps of justice
And small ones chew the little of the struggling
In baits thrown by stinking wealth meant to entice?
II
Even if some of these small fishes are caught
There still remains a lot
Even if some of these small fishes are killed
There still remain the bigger ones who act like demons fulfilled
So the working keeps struggling
And the corrupt keeps stealing
Oh discipline keeps corroding
And the corrupt ones, the growing keep contaminating
…the latter’s upper rooms, bought by the stealing
So when will a pause cause our source to cross
…loss in order to this stagnation toss
…into a secured past?
III
We sure live in hell
Fear constantly sounding in many a horror bell
Justice handcuffed and imprisoned in an unfairness cell
Unnecessary divisiveness tick tocking in fights which oppressions always tell
As corruption in self praise constantly yell
We are living in a shame built by troubled bricks
As antics of hatred float on seas with sharky tricks
Until we break our differences down
We will always act like many a silly clown in an unsavable drown
