You
You who look at me like a robot
Modeling innocence I know you possess not
You
You who stand so still like a toy
When I shadow fear in a ploy
You
You who sit when I sit
…sleep when I sleep
…turn when I turn
Why don’t you show me my yearning
…too?
Why don’t you help me with learning
…when need be?
Why don’t you fight my foes
…when my tempers soar?
Why don’t you lead for my follow?
You frame my being
And act my seeing
But do naught to help my being
You
You who gape as I gape
…acting angry in my anger
The mirror which hosts your life
…can be smashed in my strife
I created you and can kill you
…so you never ever show
To taunt my mind with who I am
Let my being walk solo
With no thoughts of expectations
…nor reprimands
…from any me who shadows in suns and moons
Only to face me square in reflections
So I can expect less from life
Which dangles rot even after riches
For that fall, boxes faith
…slaughters hope
…murders life in loving lust
Branding the self hateful in its thoughtless hopelessness
