THE PALPABLE HOTNESS

When she twirls
…he swells
When she pulls out her tongue
…he wants to her belong
When she blinks
…his ego shrinks
When she takes a step
…he turns her slave rep
Damn! The hotness can be felt
…even as many eyes’ hate pelt
That is the flame of love I need
…to keep me on this air I feed
Great that I am the she
…and you the he

II
When she whines
…he shines
When she throws tantrums like a child
…he goes mild
When he is wild
…she tames to bewilder
…a beautiful shudder
When he fumbles
…she humbles
When he grumbles
…her stubbornness crumbles
That is the flame of love I need
…to keep me on this air I feed
Great that I am the she
…and you, the he

So let’s speak through adowa’s unique language
…to give flutters in our hearts an advantage
Let’s burn love’s wood in stashes
…to leave its legendary story of ashes
To serve as healing in other loves’ crashes
And an ingredient for other love mashes
This is the colour of madness and badness
…which fetches me much gladness
So let’s dwell in this passion of fondness
…by cherishing this gift of happiness

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
