She sits on in problems
…who stands not to walk
He lies flat in shame
…who tries not a standing
Only weak minds inherit sins of their families
…in present day
I am not one to carry on problems from the past

Trust me when I say
I will be no inheritor of curses of my ancestors
Because I form part of resistors
…whose hearts are among blazing and blessed consistors
Yes, there might have been the deranged
…and the strange
But I am the walking change
Who will live in no steps of my problemed ancestors

I will suffer no historic loss
For I am the boss
…of the clearance of many a gross
Whose heart works like a dove
…coming straight from up above
…draped in love
So squash your fantasies of me living in loss
…to pay for mistakes I knew nothing of

Who says I fit the slit in familial kit?
Who claims I will date the hate of dead baits?
Who says I will die in the sigh of ancestral lies?
Who is spreading the rumour of jinxed tumor to lazy crowds humour?
Tell me the name which is building fame in my perceived future lame and tame?
Trust me, I will live to be the me I love
Stepping in no trapped kits
Talk less of baits and lies and humours of crowds
For I hold the pen of my life
And have the huge book of will
Writing what will tickle history in greatness
…and nothing else

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)

No. Ancestral curses they call it. You might not understand but some people are of the view that people inherit the curses and mistakes of ancestors or parents/grandparents/great great grandparents. I believe we live for ourselves.
