OF WINGMEN AND FRAUD

Once upon a time
Lizard was Alligator’s right wing man
He was known as the best friend any animal could have
…due to its unflinching support towards Alligator
Lizard pushed alligator through many competitions
His support even helped Alligator
…to beat Crocodile in the warrior battle
Surprising every animal in the jungle

II
Alligator became the undeafeated champion of the jungle
So much so, even lions feared him
Bored with old praises
Alligator decided to travel to human land to fight
…for domination
All other animals advised him against it
But lizard supported him like always

III
At a border of a human kingdom
Lizard saw a human child playing
He immediately went into support mode
“I know you will be victorious!
The human world belongs to your brave exploits
See that human
Begin with it and see them shake with fear
Kill a few of those
And all others will bow to you”
Alligator obeyed and followed instructions of Lizard
…seizing the child with the tail
…and suffocating it to death

IV
A grown human who saw it and called other humans
Reporting Alligator for the atrocity
Upon Lizard’s instruction
Alligator hid behind a bush
And outwitted the search party
His next hunt was a grown male
Who was obviously easing himself
Alligator hit him hard on his back
…and suffocated him
Gaining courage through the kill
…as Lizard’s hype added touches to his unbeatable ego

Alligator waited for two days
…with his wingman
To attack a human on her way to the stream
This time, it missed its hit
And the woman run as fast as she could
Calling on others to help
So many women rushed to her aid
…surrounded Alligator
…and started throwing stones at him
Alligator looked for his wingman
…hoping to learn a thing or two about an escape
By that time
…Lizard had climbed a tree
…and was hiding in its branches
…watching, as the women killed Alligator in cold blood

VI
They dragged Alligator to the town square
And there, realized his hyde was beneficial to man
And his meat was delicious
Lizard quickly left the scene
He couldn’t go back to the jungle
And kept hiding around human land
…occasionally being stoned
Alligator’s family was from then hunted
Till a near extinction
That became a notorious example and ended the tale
…of dangerous wingmen
…and their fearsome encouragements
