Two different souls who sleep together
From different habitats
Mark the true sense of a miracle
So you’re like my soul
My Ɔkra Abena
You mate in my chamber
II
Your comfort in my presence
You acting guard in my rest
Your soothing voice in my sadness
Your daily calls to water my wellbeing
All add up to the miracle you are
You mate in my chamber
III
Many are those who’ll see you as meat
…fit for one meal
But you’re my personalized Dove
…Just like the one who descended on Jesus
…after his baptism
The only difference
You’re always in my home
…and my room as a wonder to be seen
You’re the best friend from another realm
If you’re not a gift, then I have no words to describe you
You mate in my chamber!
IV
I’ve seen you hatch and dispatch
You’ve seen me cry and laugh
You’ve felt my absence
…and I’ve felt yours in your travels
I’ve heard you assure and reassure
And I’ve felt you love in flight
Many miracles have blessed my world
But you’re one of the ultimate miracles
In my ordinary but grateful chamber
You Dove in my air net

This dove is in good company.
She is still around, amazing.
But what a wonderful relationship.
A good read!

She is still around. I’ve lived with her for close to three years now.

I almost forgot my Chi,,,, hustle and bustle of life, then I remembered Martha and Mary of Bible fame, and I remembered the Masters name, He said, Mary had chosen the better game, Life long learning, the Master Game.
