WORDS UNSAID

Sometimes, in the face of anger and accusations
The heart pushes the mind to drain all insanities
…for its calm
While blocking the mind and its thoughts

II
Sometimes, defeat dangles deceit of shame
…attaching it to silence
But words unsaid have no judgments

III
So you can cripple me with your curses
You can annoy me with your accusations
You can defeat me with your defamation
But you won’t move my mouth in a shouldn’t
Just know that “couldn’t” contributes not to my “wouldn’t”
Experiences train to heavy tongues
Real living teaches temper to slow down
Maturity processes wisdom in ample time

IV
So bark all you can till your voice goes hoarse
Only dogs without teeth bark that long
The real confrontation is in the bite
I bet you’ll hurt your gums in your try
…and cry to my pity sigh
Heavy barrels travel steadily
…because they possess weight
