REMINISCENCES

Too much time on hands rhymes mimes of crimes committed
…by unfortunacy
As humans room
…and viruses rule
I’m left in this huge bed
…thinking about your fate and the state of your remains
And shedding unseen tears
…to frowning faces of the dark
Angel of mine turned shrine in my heart
…are you well rested or well resting?

II
There are days the sun shines bright
There are days clouds shroud suns
There are days thunders of life put life asunder
There are days freedom parades like a shameless idiot
But there are days you rule my heart and prick my soul
…making food disgusting
This is one such day

III
Look kindly on your mother as you rest
Pray mercifully for your mother as she does her best
Light favourably in her heart
…as she wears you like a crest
Because you died not in her heart
And will live in her
…till she breathes to share her unair
…with you in your experienced breath-not existence

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
