ODD VARIATION

There is one God
…they say
One God and one sky
But I see this bright sky
…even knowing a dark sky
…somewhere
Apparently, skies vary
So do Gods also vary?

II
There are defeated suns
…whose heat have been wrestled down by cold
As the bold rains wear their spirits of snow
…and transform into monsterous ice
Still, they say there is one God
Overseeing snow skies
…and rain skies
Don’t Gods vary?

III
I see the smoothness that minds have built
Compared to the roughness that mine fields
If there is one God for all
He never sleeps but keeps watching
…to gift inequalities to equals
…to build gaps which humans tap into
To brand themselves bad, hard, strong or weak
Should we ever blame attitudes on humanity
…for all the flaws coming from the claws of a higher being?

IV
It might be my confusion
But I see the illusion in fusion with faith
…working to imprison happiness
…with tight laws branded into religion
I hope discovery proves me wrong
…or opens eyes bugged with this virus of obsession
…thought of as a mandatory way of life
…a ticket of heaven
