BIG

This bloating
This bloating that makes me feel like a floating ghost
Gifting mouths weapons to attack my over-trained being
…forcing me on a mental battlefield
Is far worse than a broken heart

This expansion
This expansion which builds on me a worry mansion
…without gates
Gifting legs the permission to carry their mouths
…to my presence to act unsolicited advisors
Forcing me into the questioning box
…like a cornered ox
Is far worse than chicken pox

They call me big
…comparing me to a pig
…using their sword to rig
…me
…of peace
When, in God’s praises, they’re happy to add big hoping for favours
Do they have a gig
…to push me down and dig
…a tomb to use me as manure for a fig-
…tree?
I need an uncaring wig

IV
I have starved like a deceived worshipper in meditation
I have run like a horse needing its boss’ favour
I have drank unknown concoctions
…and even acted ceramic
…to be cooked in a slimming oven
Human monsters have run after me with haunting whips
But all I get is an increase
…never a decrease
Should I kill this body to float as a ghost to honour living figures?

It is a difficult realm to live
Wanting fleshes off bones
Hailing skins on bones
When fleshes, curves and plumps are the most servings
…of the black creator

Develop a thick skin
Develop a thick skin
You soul knowing your foes and acting soles
…for a step-on
Peace is after all one’s own acceptance of self
And not stooging for hovering opinions
