Did I come to the market late?
I must have
…considering the rotten goods
…waiting for selection
…or buy
Hurtful
II
What will rotten vegetables and foodstuffs fetch?
…Stale taste?
…Stomach ache?
…Running stomach?
…Food poisoning?
Yet see them scattered in near filth
…on my disappointing market
III
What will a polluted goat fetch
…in a long term petting?
Illnesses?
…Worry?
…Mistrust?
…Heartaches?
…A possible death?
Yet see it parading in annoying pumɛɛs
…caring not about the disgust on my face
IV
What will a rabid dog fetch?
…An unhealable bite?
…A tetanus injection?
…A possible loneliness?
…A living fear?
Yet see it barking without backing off
…seeing the fear boldly written with my countenance
V
What will a sneaky snake fetch me?
…A lonesomeness?
…A fearful and poisonous bite?
…An annoying hissing?
…A hide and seek in time wasting?
Yet it hisses through the horror
…written in my eyes
VI
Like normal goods a market brackets
…they seem to be all that are left
…for a pick
Some getting in the way
…and staining clothes
…ruining footwear with their stinking droppings
Where did all of them go?
…The hybrid ones
…with freshness
…unflawed colourfulness
…healthness
…normal fragrances
…promising delicacies
…with many a touch of surprises?
It sure is hard
…to shop in a near evening
Truly, almost all good goods never wait till sundown!
