VINDICTIVE

He wanted his rod
…in her pod
…thrusting in “Oh my Gods”
And couldn’t, so got bored
…and bitterness stored
…to be dished out when he could afford

II
The perfect time came
When he saw her hassled
…by the bow legged man
He watched as she struggled like a fowl
…almost caught as the val in a festi
She called for help
…but he just folded his arms in a relaxation watch
Using all her strength to push him,
…the bow legged man fell and comatosed
…to her horror and his shock
He then acted shadow under the dark

III
Handcuffers got her
The court ordered for proof
…or she forfeits her comfortable roof
So she mentions his name as her witness
He was brought in
…his confidence holding a vindictive machete
He readily murdered her innocence
…in cold blood
None saw the cruel dancing victory
…on his eyeballs
All they saw was her fear at ‘being caught’
…when her soul was only mourning her innocence

IV
That was how
Adwoa Menkah ended up a prisoner
…for life
After the bow legged man died
And Kusi vanished
…after the trial

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
