Boy is twisted
Ruins his upper
Uncaged but demented
Chess of a mess stripped into a dress
Ending fatherhood borrowing an old womb
II
Jesus must be in distress
Eating His disgust by looking unto His father
Never hoping to use His cane
Never wishing to have grown his mother
Emancipation damaged him
Really, God knows that flaunted beauty has turned him into a mess in a dress
III
Fie on all who kill flower pride
So muscles do wish to be transformed?
Aggressively he shows his prowess
And shows how timid women must be packaged
Even for one who springed from a pen and an is
He is living his dream making us uglies
He is now a lovely mess in a dress
Came as a higher, going down as a lower
Some might call it living it all
I call it cheating nature and God
He surely must produce the stick he lost
When the guards of death go by their human register
It is there he will see, his folly in the life he thought free

I am completely fscinated by this. It is powerful and resonant of the high energy poetry we used to deliver in the mid and late seventies at the free festivals and also the Trubadour in Earls Court, I read one at Windsor Free festival in 75 at which I and another three hundred were arrested for daring to be there!
I would love to know more about the poem and what you are trying to get across. I like the allusions but cannot quite pin the entire meaning of who you are referring to. Attack on mysogyny is well taken but do you also imply that transgender or transvestite is an expression of this in a way or have I simply got it hopelessly wrong? probably have but in a way it doesnt matter because it is a brilliant poem. I want to post it but wouldfirst like your interpretation of your own poem or a few pointers. And put me right where I am wroing.

Actually, I am saying that Bruce Jenner, now Caitlyn, has done what most religions will call an abomination where God is concerned because he was a perfect man with children but at the same time, many will call him daring for following his dream and living both ways. My thoughts might have flown in there where I think whatever you are, keeping your originality will be best because if the angels in heaven know you as male and you go through death a woman, then you probably are in a lot of trouble with recognition. So yes, a man who lives a perfect life and trades it to be a woman is what I call, a mess in a dress. Also I commended him/her for showing we ladies how much we are worth by dressing like a diva.

I think this comes from profound personal pain rather than recognising it as necessarily how the world should be viewed. I think the adressing of the pain is obviously a very fruitful difficult and ongoing process. However what I think most is that you are an incredibley good poet – totally original and cutting edge! Blessed wishes John

Love the way you laid this out and the points you make are quite valid. It is an upside down world when they can make a man more beautiful than a woman. His new look is gorgeous but its all make believe. Money can buy you your fantasies these days but I must wonder what is going to happen when they come before the throne of God. Of course, I will not worry about others sins and mistakes when I must answer for my own before that same throne.

My sentiments exactly but I am appalled with the media hype. It is not as if there are no females on earth but it is somehow gross although brave.
