ROOTS OF HUGEDOM

DSCF9015

They say huge trees sit on huge roots

Abena, “Abetifi nana nkansoa”

My roots are not even as huge as little worms

***

I can be uprooted by

angry winds

raging storms

piercy rains

And can be killed by

heavy footsteps

heated sun

bites by ants

But I am striving

In this soil of driving

Hoping to use all;

winds, storms, rains

All in right doses

To get to hugedom

***

They say winds of death spared

Inspire strength

So I’ll brace them all

footsteps

suns

bites and all

Until I reach the hugedom kingdom

For others to sit on and grow

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
