Nae!
Thoughts that taunt
Hurts that haunt
Beasts that burst
Are like wild lions let lose
To feed on happy beings
II
Nae!
I am an eye
Many eyes see me as the sky
But my sky seems so wry
Clouds and sun seem to be in a tie
III
Nae!
If leaves fight to live
By swaying to the whims of the winds
While clutching on stems for as long as they can,
Then what will a finger plucked leaf to say?
Unfairness?
IV
Nae!
There is something so wrong
Although this star stands strong
Other stars, the moon, and down made lights compete
Sometimes forcing defeat
V
Nae!
Where some creatives
Are deemed domesticated like dogs
While frogs croak like lions,
Where are the humans?
VI
Nae!
Every travelling day which passes
Covers a ray of my light
Drawing me nigh into the earth
But I stand listless waiting like a coward
While working like a bull
VII
Nae!
Nights never beg for light
Livers seek their faces
By usurping their dark
But help me make my mark
VIII
Nae!
I beg for closure
With souls now with leisure
So I can know their treasures
And know my fate
Am I wishing for the sun?
