The calabash is empty
Its waters vanished
Making its chambers dry

The calabash is thirsty
So thirsty it is crying
Crying for waters which initially burdened

The calabash is hungry
Hungry in bottom
But the winds are having fun in blowing

The calabash is dancing
Eyes see it dancing
But it sees that as an exhibition of its emptiness
V
The calabash wants exploration
Exploration of banishment
On the streams protected
By the beautiful coupling cocoa farms
Whose seeds passed through the hands of Tetteh Quarshie
