The dream of this launch started with a discussion with one of my mothers Yaa Asabea Asihene. She said sure Ceci, publishing is fine and I will help in any way I can. And she stayed true to her words. Although she was not here, she came a few weeks earlier and saw to some of the preparations. Thank you Sexy, you are a blessing.
These two are the remaining mothers. From left, Mrs. Shirley Agowa Banafoe Doku and Dr. Mrs. Nana Ama Pokuah Arthur. They contributed so much and organised the whole programme. Mrs. Doku, who is more than a real mother, personally baked the pies, prepared the drinks, baked the cakes as Dr. Mrs Arthur prepared the sausages and gizzards and made sure the packaging worked fine. I cannot express my thanksgiving enough because these are very accomplished beings and for them to do the things they did, I know God has already blessed their humbled selves before I even thought to bless.
Dr. Agambilla, seated right, was told of my quest in publishing. He agreed to edit, and did a marvellous job, and also introduced me to Wilson. He was such a pillar through it all. Calling to check up on preparations and offering advice and strength. Mr. Kwasi Gyan-Apenteng (speaking) helped by encouraging and writing the foreward. Through it all, he was there, offering advice when needed and using his contacts when need be. Thank you very much great ones.
Wilson is first from left, he designed the cover page and did a great job by bringing Aziaba, a professional model (the tallest among them), on board. He worked on the smashword publication and helped throughout. Thank you very much beautiful people.
The man flanked by the young ones; Nana Awere Damoah, suffered through it all. He wrote a duet with me entitled “Fathering Therapy, in the Mind of my Father” and told me everything I needed to know about launches being a writer, and a great one at that, my eyes were opened to many hurdles ahead. All his calm advice helped and he was always a phone call away although he knew me only on FaceBook. He flew in from Nigeria, although he was very busy to attend the launch and bought the book for the highest price. Thank you very much Daddy. Onyeka Nwelue also threw in advice every now and then. Thank you great writers.
One of the writers of the review, Nana Asaase is one of the finest poets in Ghana. He agreed to be the reviewer together with Chieff Moomen upon the advice of Nana Awere Damoah and they did very well at what they do. They gave performances and their reviews were apt and very favourable.
Chieff Moomen giving his review. Although he was supposed to be in the studio, being a radio personality, he stayed through it all. And the gentleman taking the shot run all errands in my stead in Accra. I was never stuck when I needed help running around. He did it all and also did well in the grand auctioning. Thank you Sylvanus Bedzrah (I choose to call him Sly for reasons best known to myself) for the help and humility.
Honourable Dzifa Gomashie was brought on board finally by Oswald Okaitei. Ane he did well cordinating and helping in media relations. As the MC, he did all he could to make sure the programme was a success. Being a fine poet himself, I never lacked in his expertise. Thank you so much.
Sylvanus Bedzrah and Oswald Okaitei from left to right. And they worked the whole day!
Mr. Charles Atia came despite the fact that he had a leg injury which was operated on and he worked despite the stress. Thank you very much.
Some presidential loving by the girls, and Namerl Tagoe, the one holding the book, worked hard all day as the ‘cuddler’ worked well as the photographer.
Fo Kofi Ocloo surprised yours truly by showing up. Thank you Fo. Blessings.
And the gifted Wassalet, Junior Damoah read out some pieces he was inspired to write at the launch. A very gifted young man.
The Chairman for the occasion, Mr. Alfred Kpodo worked right. Being the boss in seat, he worked well and coordinated to have a great launch. Thank you very much.
Ato Ulzen Appiah(right) is a great motivator who nurtured me into motivation. Even with his busy schedule, he made time for the launch. Thank you very much. Flanked by Nana Awere Damoah and Ato, everyone knows the programme was a huge success.
Here, I learnt how tedious it is to autograph books at launches. God bless all the young writers who turned up.
A time with Aziaba, the cover face model. She truly is a beautiful being and one who would do a good job when hired for any modelling. Even the picture tells the one good for the job.
And they made it fun
Busy, busy, busy.
The president asked the politicians to help in our quest to support those living with autism. His heartfelt speech still resonates.
And the Chair spoke. Seeing the high table members engrossed in the speech, everyone knows he spoke well.
Flanked by Mr. Charles Atia and Awura Abena Agyemang, the very talented fashion designer who dressed me up. Wear Ghana really did well, the dress fitted perfectly and wore right.
And some author recital times. Interesting.
One of the three best friends. She delivered a great speech, the other; Juvian Osei Bonsu, worked behind the scenes and even never showed up in any of the pictures and the other; Adeline Nyabu was stuck in the USA because of a course. Through it all, they were all pillars.
Finally, Shika Nornoo got a shot alone. She was the photographer of the day.
Edward Sena Sey (first from left) came although he lost his father. My condolences and blessings.
The beautiful audience.
Precious times, Mrs. Serwah Quaynor of the Autism Awareness Care and Training Centre taught the audience a few things about autism. They are not snakes to be sent away in death, she told them.
The cozy PAWA premise where the launch took place.
The Wear Ghana crew on board.
Hon. Dzifa Gomashie spoke, inspired and actually advised the youth to listen.
Some soobolo and small chops moments.
Finally relieved, yours truly was out of those long heels and the photographer had her photo.
Worlanyo Wemegah and Namerl Tagoe gave some adorable moments.
And Sly couldn’t help so joined the naughty fans.
Wilson and his beautiful girlfriend shared some Auntie Dzifa time.
Mr. Chris Worla made it, though he had a very tight schedule. Blessings.
Nana Asaase doing what he does best, ministering in poetry.
And Ebenezer Banafoe, my uncle (right) showed up.
High table member time.
The very fine MC and organiser.
Accursed is the cockerel
Who pecks and cleans
To hide evidence of gratefulness
Like the grateful donkey
Who was served by its masters
A soul bows
Any sound of Kokro Meaww
Any breeze which brings a sound
Every sky with a countenance
Screams and screams thanksgiving
For all contributions in making a giant dream
A reality

What a beautiful expression of love and gratitude. Also an amazing example of how it takes a village to lift us up. That none of use works alone. Congratulations and many blessings on the road ahead.

Oh, how I wish I could have been at this blessed poetry launch, Cecilia. Know I am delighted for you and not even a bit surprised that it should happen. Smiles and applause and hugs and more smiles and applause, for I almost think I am there in this gracious posting.

Oh Cecilia,
I am over the moon happy for you. It looks as if the launch was an amazing success! Thank for sharing this wonderful event with us. Just know one thing, my dearest Cecilia, YOU are beautiful and although the “face” model is beautiful, You are absolutely divine and I am sorry that someone made you feel as if your own face was not worthy of your book. You are beautiful inside and out!
You have my continued well wishes and fervent prayers for an incredibly profitable selling of your lovely book. The treasures held within its pages are far more valuable than any currency could equate.
Blessing upon you dearest Cecilia!

Blessings to you too. Actually, I know my face is very good. The problem though is that, I needed to be behind the covers so it will not make me stand out too much because writers need a little bit of hiding to write for long. My personal view. You have been of great help in prayers and advice Tina. May God richly bless you.

O, I am so happy to hear that! You are correct, of course, that privacy is needed. I am so delighted to understand that you are confident in your inner and outer beauty!
