After my parting
I hope the world remembers not
The stench of my farthings
And only sees the marks of my sweeping broom
II
After my parting
I hope none cries for gains lost
And that my only son lives
Growing in pride over my short existence
III
After my parting
I hope my students remember my fire
And use my dead wood ends to rekindle their strength
To live fearless to impact positively
IV
After my parting
I hope friends curse me not
For taking with me my smiles and giggles
Leaving a void none can fill
V
After my parting
I hope many hold hands to help the autistic
Offering help instead of disdain
Giving out a little to make grand for their living
VI
After my parting
I wish to look back and smile
At the perfect world I left behind
Or the near perfect world trying perfection
VII
I can boldly face whatever
If I see what I need to see
And realize I impacted like a blessing bomb
After my parting

Oh my Dearest Cecilia,
Do you not realize? Do you not know? You have already fulfilled these aspirations. Your legacy is living as you plant each step you take. When you are called to your final moment there will be deep sorrow and deep gratitude for a woman who lived her life well. Your seeds you work so diligently to plant will grow into a mighty, strong forest of good and change. The long range impact of your life has already begun so rest assured, your life will not be forgotten. Your friends will number in the millions as we across vast oceans are allowed the opportunity to befriend a person such as yourself. You have already made the difference between success and failure for each and everyone of your students! God blesses your efforts while Satan tries to destroy them so the battle never ends. I pray God shows you how much you have changed your corner of the world already.

Nice one. Gets one thinking how you want to be remembered after leaving this world.

Yes, everyone needs to think that after you are shaken up. This is not our final destination so we can’t help it.
