Minds with jobs live through
Snobs. An empty tin of milk
Fears no known kicking
Kick it here, kick it there, it
Will follow without complaints
II
Stars’ stories are told
In so many different tongues
Their successes thrived:
They adorned the naked sky
Until their faded and dimmed
III
They sat in sadness
Watching their own former spots
In melancholy
Their uselessness dancing to
The drums of shame in their heads
IV
They could die by the
Rope hanged by even bedbugs
So I say to these
Let not your bright shine today
Flaw you into thinking wrong
V
You are fire whiles you
Are still glowing with red heat
When the rains get you
Under their jurisdiction,
Ants will build their rooms in you

I love the phase a empty tin fears no kicking, it will follow without complaints. A can, a star, man. It’s not whether the cup is half empty or half full it’s whether there is a cup that sits in front of you
