Even stones are blasted
By the creation of mind’s art
Man, who art thou
To put out light
In another’s candle?
II
In a journey
Which all are meat
For the insatiable earth
And hungry scavengers,
Who is who
To squash the flower
Of another which yearns like yours?
III
We’re in this race
We all have our paces
And move with our faces.
When one trips
On your account
Let it be free of your conscience
Then this game will be fair
And your conscience will be clear
I value the conscience
Than winning.

Wonderful. Better to be the hand that helps someone up than the stone they trip over 🙂
