KNOWS NO OLD

So the old man saw

The umbilical cord of the great being severed,

Saw his first wobbly step

Heard his first ridiculous word

Saw his first fall

And saw him learn his first lesson

And so?

There are path-makers

There are path-finders

Whoever thought Jesus Christ

Will be more important than John the Baptist!

Whoever thought Joseph will be greater than his brothers!

Whoever thought Mohammed will be one great prophet!

III

Many men handsome, intelligent and huge lived

Before these

Even Shakespeare never knew he was great

But his ghost must sure be pleased

And be bowing to his past

The bottom line is; greatness knows no age

Yes greatness knows no age

Greatness knows no time

Greatness knows no being

Greatness is greatness and knows no class

This order cannot change

Never! Ever!

There isnt limit to greatness. This is a good one. I love that thought. To go beyond the word, it’s meaning. To capture it’s power and hand it over to the word itself. A very powerful image. Great work
