LAND OF MY DREAMS

Path Of Nightmares

I’m in bed

But not in bed

I’m in the bed of thoughts

Lying on the blanket of fear

And wrapped with the cloth of future loss

All working with darkness of nightmares

To throw me into a bottomless pit of  failure

Why do I walk in sleep?

Why do I run in sleep?

Why do I weep in sleep?

Why do I, like a lost sheep,

Bleat at the pain of unfair whips in sleep?

Why can’t I be a dove in sleep?

Why can’t I have peace in sleep?

III

This land of my dreams

Filled with screams

Filled with enemy beams

Crying to wounds with no soothing creams

And looking into eyes of enemy teams

A painful world it seems

A world of dreams with screams

How can a little mind have such lands?

So vast with countless bands?

So spacious with many hands?

So fertile with countless trees?

So cloudy with chaotic rains and dooming fires?

So trappy with many traps?

So litigatory with many courts of shame?

Yet a run of wakefulness shows its little place of pillow, scary!

Fear has no boundaries. It will be where you can see. It’s strength is stronger than the all of you. A mind that has no faith, a mind that does not believe,will be where you will find this fear. You are not the only one, it’s in us all sweet dreams of fear
