Hitting his head in hurried hurt

Mother mummers

Father frowns

Sisters sit in sadness

Why would he worry their world

Drinking drunk to destruction?

Like a leech who lives to last in his last

Bleeding and bursting beneath the burn

Working for work with will is worse

Quinton quickly quaffs his quaff

Women woo with want of wisdom

Quinton quickly quaffs his quaff

Sleeping sick in shivers and shame

Debarring don’t dwell dull in his den

Friends fear for Quinton’s fall

Death knocks on his door at dawn

Quinton quietly quaffs his quaff

Quivering, the last light of his life quenching

I would not mind if these fellows quietly quaff it. They become a Burden to the family too. Sad and Shameful.

Very sad and shameful, my uncle died two months ago because of excessive drinking. He wouldn’t listen to anyone. It was so so painful to watch.

Oh, this is a Big subject, is it Not, my dear Amoa? I have had at least 3 relatives, quite close ones, who died to it, and one who has not yet died. …But it is not only they who suffer, the family suffers, and that is what I do not like. And in India, drinking means Not enough Food for the family.

I can relate to that. So sorry that you had to see three of them and still more. I saw only one and my heart sunk millions of times upon seeing her. It is really a big subject sir. I just pray heavy drinkers see the light.

My Dear Amoa, I am a peculiar creature. I see SO many others who are not just drunkards, but make trouble for their families because of it. AS I CONSIDER ALL THESE MY FAMILY, You find me Angry in my writings!
