STONE

It shone like a star from afar

Attracting me to run to it

As I got closer its light lit

My strength soared and nothing mar

The zeal to own this precious light

I reached, saw and it was mere stone

Oh how can you act like a star?

Wasting my strength and hope in one

Deceiving with the help of sun

I wish the sun had a shade bar

Far away from the dubious stone

To bar deception of the lone

I’m slapping these running leg car

Who scream out in regret and pain

None hears him, they think me insane
