A mouth keeps opening
Dressed by a walrus moustache
Its door at every opening
Shows two crooked chairs
Which tell tales of collapsing in kola
But voices dressed in words so horrid
Dawdle to battle the strong
And guess what?
They win
A mouth unworthy
Standing trial and winning it all
Overtaking bullets
Overtaking machetes
Overtaking fists
Overtaking bombs
Overtaking all defences
Who dares to stand?
None
Because he clutched the pen
Which gave his weak state protection
To battle even with his chairs in near ruins

Words are weapons they can cause pain, squash a dream, their power is endless. I’ve been on both ends , a giver and a taker. Yes the war can be won or lost by just a word. It’s sad to think how times it’s has happen to me. These are the tragedies of life . Human kindness is not forever flowing. Be it tongue , pen or a look a lost soul is never found.
