In the mirrored eyes of the world
I see myself as the vulture parasite
Spewing fire
Wanting to kill and devour
The movie of me in their eyes
Scares me
So I made to get a mirror of myself
Struggling and struggling
I get the mirror
And stands in front
Surprisingly, I am just a little frail bird
Saying what is
But the what is seems to be
The mask of doom which many dread
So they make a movie to fit me
And make sure I see it in their eyes
Mouth of brimstone and fire
Spewing to polish
Spewing to de-pollute
Spewing to clear
I am not ashamed of that monster in me
So let the movies circulate
I am and will still be me
The me who scares to fix

I see a similar event unfolding in Hong Kong. I hope that they are not mistreated. You have written a wonderfully powerful piece, Cecilia!

Thank you Rob. These are wrong happenings and I hope that will not be so in Hong Kong. Blessings.

I love the evil imagery and very powerful when you present your presence in opposition.

Ohh I really like this Poem. I think it is my favorite. Freedom of speech and peacefull protest and peacefull demonstrations are not a threat to a free democratic society. It should be a welcome excercise of democratic process to hear the will of it’s citizen, that they want reflected in it’s governments actions.
