EID PRAYERS IN POETRY

eid-ul-fitr

During this Eid

I pray for all aggressors to be timid

To seize all that is horrid

During this Eid

Let lives be splendid

Forgetting all spirits which happiness hid

During this Eid

Make it your bid

To on chaos put an unbreakable lid

During this Eid

Make all scared amid

The brethren, the lost, the different and many a stubborn kid

For Eid

Is the only sacred kid

Which can all burdens rid

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)

Sure. And your poem is a reminder to us all to embody the love, the gentleness, the kindness, the peace and the justice present in our respective religions or lifestyles…whatever they may be. Thanks!
