He told her:
“Give it to the lord
All that your thoughts can’t afford
And He will use His sword
To cut the roots of all its chords”
He further said:
“All have been written
That Satan can be smitten
By beings but his knitting
Of traps is surely done with his muting”
He turned and saw his son heeding to the call
Of the earth. He cried out, calling all to help him back
She asked him:
“I thought you said the Lord
Could all afford?”
“I guess it is easier said
Than done”
He said and went off carrying his baggage of hurt.

When I saw the image of Christ for this post, I thought this was going to be one of those usual poems to thank the Lord for all the blessings he has bestowed upon the world. I didn’t think this was your usual style so I decided to read on. Thank-you for being transparent and stating that things are easier said than done. Great post!
