By a dint of thought
She realised she’s always fought
Fought for the general umbrella of her faith
Fought for the general umbrella of her tribe
Fought for the general umbrella of her gender
Fought for the general umbrella of her family
Then why do the rains flog her?
All the rains flog her;
The rains of her faith
The rains of her tribe
The rains of her gender
The rains of her family
All soak her soul always leaving it in flood
Like a house overtaken by an angry god
Could it all be in vain?
She is the dust she walks on
It staticly cringes as she steps
Cussing and silently awaiting her return
And her turn to be the stepped upon
Loosening up is a codified chain from thoughts of the dead
But it seems the perfect way to live
Wait, what is she thinking?
More thoughts causes more confusion
Could there be a key to locking thoughts?

You are fighting for so much. Stay strong. Don’t be afraid to feel confused. It is natural to question everything – all the umbrellas we have sat safely beneath. Keep thinking…
