We all swam to this shore
Those who cherish their ears
Wish to hear to no avail
Those who cherish their eyes
Wish to see to no avail
Those who cherish their mouths
Wish to speak to no avail
Those who cherish their noses
Wish to smell to no avail
Those who cherish their skins
Wish to feel to no avail
Like a forgotten island
The heart is abandoned
Its feelings neglected
But therein lies the answer to the puzzle
As the one with ears feels
And the one with skin hears
And the one with mouth sees
As the one with eyes speak
All we need to do
Is to hold our hands
And listen to our hearts in unison
Then we will each feel, see, hear, and smell
All of them and have a taste of their feel.
