We sat in the hall of cupid
Did things people call stupid
We sailed on the wings of gods at sea
And did many things see
And you say you are leaving?
We sat on the chariots of flowery words
And made friends out of singing birds
We held hands and trekked lands
We sang the joyfuls, sacked pain while holding hands
Did you say you are leaving?
We fell into troubled waters
Our pride was in the shatters
We merged our hearts
And conquered death with guts
You really meant you are leaving?
They warned my shame
I called them lame
You held my hand
Shaming the land
Still no consideration, you’re leaving?
Leave
Whatever pride that is left, I’ll sieve
Whatever the wound, I’ll nurse
Whatever the pain, I won’t curse
If there is a heaven, I leave you to karma.
