MY MOTHER, MY PRIDE.

My mother my pride

I’ve nothing to hide

She’s always by my side

Taking all love’s stride

Even if it means she cries

My mother my hope

Trying to right words grope

All my gaffes she copes

I’m attached to her love’s dope

Will do nothing to have her mope

My mother is my light

She always tends to fight

To make sure I’m alright.

At just her saintly sight

What runs is my fright

My mother is my sun

She puts on me no ban

Her hate for me is none

She makes sure I all things can

I’m her number one fan

My mother is my story

She takes all my worry

And gives me all her glory

It’s a pity I have for her no lorry

Neither an expensive cowrie

My mother is my pride

Cannot seize to be my heart’s bride

Cos her love for me never dried

And will certainly never dry

Even if she is fried   My mother is my pride

My mother is my light

My mother is my hope

My mother is my sun

And my mother is my story

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
