SANITY AND DISORDER

Once upon a time
Madness wearing the body of beauty
Lived among humans
Breathed among humans
And was sent to be with humans
In a law abiding structure

All looked and saw a beauty
But she did things contrary to the norm
She claimed her hair untouched
But braided hairs even pain would wince to have
She defecated where she should not
Urinated where she should not
And when she was caught
She changed her beauty to madness

One high power bought into her tricks
Whatever the association
…none knew
He protected her where others were reprimanded
And shielded her when others were punished
So she got bolder
And started disrespecting authority
While being a nuisance

Others cleaned after her
Day after day
While insulting authority who used her cunning ways to give her passes
Great authorities
…wanting fairness
Left discipline to be gobbled up by disorder
Because who should work
For the mad to mess?
Who should stand to seem so unfair?

All advice to send the chaos to where it rightfully belonged proved futile
And so it was
That the unfair supervisor was seen as unwise
And lost trusted workers
To the unfair treatment he parceled as empathy
Dethroning his gentility for what it stood for:
…favouritism and injustice

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
