Who calls others beasts
After killing innocent beings for feasts?
How cruel!
You price yourselves high
Projecting wokeness and equality
But you’re shielding criminal youngsters in reality
You train your young to see their skin as superior
Forcing their young minds to grow to think others inferior
God the creator is watching
II
You think your citizens worthy
And hope they’re all healthy
But you’ve taken a life so royal
And shielded your criminals with wickedness oh so loyal
Even as the whole world is watching
III
His mother is wailing
His father is wailing
His family are wailing
His nation is knowing
…about the monsters you’re raising
How cruel!
IV
He could have been the national fuel
Worthy of being the solution to a nation struggling
He could have been the bread winner
But you’ve taken his life as the many a horrid sinner
He could have been one to impact lives of many
But now he can’t be of any help to any
You will be cursed, your sins
…will force your national assets into bins
V
For all hearts that do Nana Yaw Agyei Oduro Ahyia remember
There will be calamities for you to remember
None brutally takes a son of the Ghanaian soil
Who is without fault and goes on to live well without punches of recoil
So live like you’re doing
And patiently wait for your natural sentences
Dead or alive,
On you or your generations to come
Justice will be served
Rest well Nana
But fight the battles your helpless body couldn’t
Kill the souls of the hands that took your life
And be sure to show their pitiable walking corpses to shame their families and nation
For justice should be the new advocacy
For all those monsters masking their insecurities with fake superiority
…to take lives they can’t give

In remembrance to Nana Yaw Agyei Oduro Ahyia, who was racially assaulted and killed while attending the Riga Technical University in Latvia. May his restless soul help in the vengeance that all our hearts seek.

RIP. Happy Holidays, I don’t have any idea if you celebrate Christmas or Kwanzaa but if this is a celebratory time, I hope you make good memories. π
