DZIFA’S GOMASHIE

Whoever births a greatness
Who shone in the arts and business
And stands as the lioness
…protecting a constituency bigger than most
Is worth the honour post

So as you shed your human body
And joins the ancestral body
Words need to be arranged to show you were somebody
…somebody who lived and shone and gifted us a she
…who does more than many a he

I say ‘M’awu na yera wo’ for gifting us Dzifa
We say ‘Hedenyuie’ as you part from Dzifa
…and loved ones who benefited from your body
If ever a world goes and comes
Papa, do come again into our arms
And we will cherish the you who lived and lived well
…to live even better in a personality that will make the world dance
Celebrating all your milestones in a happiness which will brighten the world
