A NATIONAL DISASTER {For those who perished in the 6/8/25 helicopter crash}

If you know what a second holds
In our time which runs and folds
You will sit not in a world this cold
And act like a destructive grumpy mould

II
As helpless birds walk their complaining poor
And average fliers fly up many a door
Eagles who own the vast vast sky
Get burnt to the ground in a belly-up lie

III
Importance in ashes
Mortals in rushes
These are the times, cashes
…are trashes

IV
As tears for the left, keep us in grief
Let our differences live times very very brief
For life’s transiency owns its work
So why do we live to happiness shirk?

V
Mutala
Boamah
Anala
Limuna
Aboagye and Sarpong
Ampadu and Mensah

VI
May your exit lead the living learn
As your prayers, like money we earn
Pour to wake us to sense discern
Even as your remains shock and burn

VI
Rest in peace
Rest in power
You’re deceased
In this horrid shower
Whatever this Wednesday has to offer
6, 8, 25, remains a pain which will forever hover

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
