DREAMS OF NEED

I dream a dream we cease to scream
Divisions and blames oh so extreme
And tend to the land we collectively own
So corruption and lies will be overthrown

II
I dream a dream where elections end
And all the parts form whole to defend
The Motherland which needs all our working care
For life for her children which she holds so dear

III
I’m tired of nightmares oh so scary
Where robbery and chaos leave many teary
As bitterness and need form heavy loads we carry
Into other choices which repeat our worry

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)

Brace yourself, dear. It will get worse before it finally gets better. Poets and visionaries are needed now more than ever. 😘
