A NEW DAWN

When the stakes turn in the lows
And leaders become foes
Minds thought dumb fight egos thought highest
Ghana’s pulse beats as a political conquest

II
But we wait with held breaths
For freedom in life or socially horrific deaths
Oh we are still in grey
As we can be led astray
In a corrupt decay and gagged say

III
For we walk like lost sheep, from disappointments to hope
Only to like stubborn goats, sacked to return to the same slope
If it still becomes so, how do we cope?

IV
We live in a bleeding womb
Which can easily turn into our tomb
We just need a working hand
Protected by a truthful bad
…in order to be able to stand

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
