Once upon a time, aboa Gyata
Ruled a jungle whose systems to all ɛfata
Though everything was going well, some animals haboured anibere
So they plotted and waited for their emere
All the jealous animals consulted Akura
For ideas to, as it were, overthrow Gyata
II
Akura told them to set the jungle on egya
As that is the only thing that can scare Gyata
All the animals hailed him as nyansafoɔ
Forgetting the plan was like self aborɔ
They did set the jungle on egya
Only to start feeling the heat of the egya before Gyata
III
Even Akura in his ɛbon
Felt the heat and started running from his own safe ɛbon sɛɛ hɔn
But before he could reach safety, he had burnt like kyinkyinga
Before they knew it, all their plans had gyiriga
And they were burnt alive by the unforgiving egya
IV
Gyata saw from afar the fury of the egya
And fled to safety before it reached his ahenfie
But so many innocent animals, who saw the tricks of the jealous and kept mum, lost their efie
So many others died and had no asieɛ
That is the story’s awieɛ
