They chirp to disturb for a wake
Only to tell tales of stolen men and women
While acting like pigs in stinking dirt
Attracting hoots and likes and loves and cares
…from bored and interested trouble lovers

They befriend to begrudge to out to destroy
Only to jubilate at a fall they’ve caused
Thinking themselves bigger than others
Even as they’re dressed in disgust

They always move in the moisture of scandals
Drapped in the shamelessness of their attitudes
…while hoarding pain in their hearts
I bet only their beds and chamber audiences
…know the real emotions they pour in their privacy

For not having scandals to share
We sit to jubilate as the system breeds them in thousands
Forgetting those our camera lenses fall on
Are the very sculptors of our future
We sit and promote their immortalities and politics of insults
Thinking their rot shines for our bought
Our interest is what produces the eggs for their multiplication
And we’ll pay for it
…we’ll so pay for it
In the futures of our young
