By all means
Kill the mosquitoes which sing to disrupt the sound of our means
…but get the rats which feed fat on our storage
…without looking into our future’s hunger hostage
II
Yes, by all means
Break the crabs without heads at our shores
But do get the sharks, with minds, killing the purpose of our captains
…before they reach our ships
III
By all means
Let farmers trap the games which feed fat on their crops
But find ways of seizing the elephants who overturn their farms
…to destroy the wholesomeness of the crops
IV
By all means
Let’s seal the little holes in our ceiling
But fix the umbrellas which break our protection
…to force us to drown in the middle of many storms
V
None deserves to be caught in a crime of all
A little fall for our rise is laudable
But huge falls for our flight is imperative
So let the high and mighty know we know
…the many atrocities darkness hide
…to push their flourishing daylight
And we know, the little together with their biggles
…drag us down the gutters of impoverishment
With the latter pushing the former into being
We’re not that gullible
