STRENGTH OF HARDENED CRIMINALS

Many many times
Lion ruled the jungle on crimes
Killing smaller animals like no other
And always walking with huge shoulders with no bother
No call for justice made it shudder

Then cat, out of hunger
…hunted down a mouse like a low ranger
Prompting others to brand cat a stranger
And force it to taste its vice
To save the poor poor mice
So the voices of all animals did rise

Lion acted on it
And called for cat’s body to be split
He never for once thought of his hits
…on antelopes, goats, sheep, cows, giraffes and others
And worse, the animals still saw him as a brother
…and not a bother

IV
And so it was that lion still ruled the jungle
And made sure the animals felt his many a strangle
And always saw him from his strength’s angle
Till the jungle crumbled with the extinction of many who handled
…its affairs
