In the sphere of the sun
Darkness is but a click of our fingers
…and light should be our can
In doses exceeding figures
Drifts are easy to catch
If workers listen and watch
II
Science has taught us the way
Opening doors to solar floors
Life has shown us it works
Affirming deeds we thought impossible
Risks are but a turn
…we need to take to attain the impossible
So why do we sit in a fit which gives our dark
…power over our wealth?
III
The sun is shining
But none is harvesting
Dams are struggling
As their doctors push them to shine
But monies find themselves in pockets
…of classy-ghettoed watchers
…who turn round to bemoan our poverty
Who are we toying?
IV
Harvest the sun
…to heal our dum
Harvest the sun
…to power our sɔ
Harvest the sun
…to complement our power
Even if your salaries must suffer the lot
V
For a whole nation drives on your sworn dedication
A whole nation is in the hands of you leading drivers
A whole nation trusts your driving
Nothing must be binding than this
As you begged to drive us to safety
So none must call on you nation drivers
…to fix the mess we’re in
