Brought us life
Life which is being suffocated and giving us strife

And calamities from our iniquities

It is sad how your early loss still bind and scar us
It is horrible how we weaned not from suckling
…the breasts you moulded, making us many a weakling
I wish regrets could bring the dead back to life
Many of us would have given our lives
…to you, in honour, receive
