A SUN WHICH REFUSED TO SET

A Sun which refused to set
Made many place a bet
That it’ll never reach its West
To leave a history of being among the best

II
As it burned
It, great power yearned
As it earned
It, a grave lesson learned

III
For with the burn out of its heat
Came a turn out for its defeat
But the East will not accept its landing
And the West was too far for its setting

IV
With North and South holding daggers of hate
And the Earth holding spears to bait
The sun fell to its death in the sea
Never again for any eye to ever see
Minds forced to forget its birth
As hearts were relieved after its death

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
