SKY’S LESSON

Once upon a time,
Sky was slapped by thunder
…and laughed at by lightning
The anger of Sky was so severe
That she used clouds to cover herself
The clouds stopped her suns and moons from shining
…and showed a frown to her earth
A frown which made all humans suffer with cold
… angry winds and darkness
Because of this,
…an eagle lost its chicks in a thunderstorm
…many other animals died because of the darkness
…many humans also suffered from the torture of humidity
So God called Sky from beneath the clouds
…and asked what was wrong
Sky narrated her ordeal in complaining detail
God in his wisdom said:
“You can use clouds to cause your frown
…or cover all your bright hosts
But not for long
Just because of thunder and lighting who are friends of clouds
See how others you love are suffering
What did they do wrong? Just cry off your clouds into rain
At least some may benefit from it
Then you can continue to help them live their normal lives
So Sky cried out all its clouds
Stopping droughts and flooding some parts
…where humans have failed riverways
It became brighter and brought warmth to many
Sky learned to live life carefree
Crying when need be
…to stop clouds from shielding its shine
…and being an impediment to those who love her

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
