When there arrives a day
For all heads to say
What they’re paid to say
When there arrives a day for words of leaders
To lead the path they’re paid to lead
When there arrives a day for the highest
To respect decisions of the higher and high to even the low
When there comes a day-
A day all followers will out the ignorant hollow
…of blind following
That is the day true development will begin
II
When a day unveils realistic voices
…and authentic choices
When a day thinks of the best for generations unborn
Instead of the greed to feed their generation
When a day uproots weeds from plants determined to grow
…and be harvested
That is the day true growth will be farmed right on this land
III
So I look
…and book
As all decisions are unhooked
…because of selfish interests
I just look and book
All the strides thrown to the dogs
Because of ignorant popular opinion
I just look and book
As power meant for bigger battles
Descend the stairs of indecency
To fight a battle fought to be won
Reversing a win into a loss
And I sigh in wait
Of the dawn of the big break
Hoping to see the beginning of our growth
That is all I live for
…in this sphere of helplessness

I knew placing Ashawo Dairies on my DP
and status and Facebook was my way of getting even at some holier than thou friends because of the title “Ashawo Dairies” ,however, the name “Ashawo” was like I had just announced a UFO’s discovery. I pray for we dozens of your kind in this country. We sure have to exorcised the leadership of “popular opinion”
